Blackstone Hibachi Recipe: Easy Home made Hibachi-Style Cooking

Quick & easy hibachi dinner on the Blackstone griddle! Tender meats, crisp vegetables & flavorful fried rice ready in 35 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Japanese bbq sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
  • For the Fried Rice:
  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and steak to medium bowls and season with salt and pepper, garlic powder, ground ginger, japanese bbq sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the griddle.
  4. Add the chicken and the steak pieces in two seperate piles and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add another tablespoon of sesame oil to the griddle.
  6. Add the zucchini, onion, broccoli, and mushrooms.
  7. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Season vegetables with salt and pepper, and a small amount of soy sauce..
  9. Push the vegetables to the side of the griddle.
  10. Once meat and vegetables are cooked, remove from griddle (I laid them out on a baking sheet)
  11. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the griddle.
  12. Pour the beaten eggs onto the griddle and scramble them until cooked.
  13. Add the cooked Rice
  14. In a seperate pile, add the frozen peas, and carrot and cook until softened and warm.
  15. Stir to combine and cook until the rice is heated through and slightly crispy, about 5 minutes.
  16. Add the soy sauce and green onions, and stir to combine.
  17. Garnish with sesame seeds, and Enjoy your homemade hibachi meal!
